National Road Safety Week 2025
Too many lives are lost or changed forever on Territory roads. NT drivers are 4 times more likely to die on the road than the national average*. Road users are reminded - if you’re not ok with that, drive like our lives are worth living.
This year already, 9 people have lost their lives on our roads. This week is a timely reminder for all Northern Territory Government employees that as individuals, and as a community, we all have the power to make our roads safer.
We all have a choice to do the right thing and prevent avoidable deaths and serious injuries on Territory roads.
